ugh i hate when people start taking about how expensive school is and like i have no problem with it b/c my parents are rich but i feel so awkward saying it. like the other day someone i know was like "you know what i did? i claimed independent from my parents so my income was not high enough and i get financial aid, maybe you could do that." and i was like "maybe" and then he kept talking about how to do it and then i was like "well right now my parents make enough.." and he was like "oh..okay" and then i felt awkward so i was like "probably not when i get to law school though haha" and he was like "yeah haha definitely, wouldn't that be nice"

my polisci prof was talking about how everyone has to do supreme court case presentations and she was like "you can do anything as long as it's legal...you wouldn't think i'd have to say that" and someone asked what had been done that wasn't legal and she said someone who did miller v california brought CHILD PORN in as part of their presentation. who the fuck would ever do that. that is so sick. wow. i can't even imagine how anyone could think that was a good idea.
