Now I do get that it's kind of unfair that socially awkward, unattractive guys sometimes are labeled creepy just for existing. (I have friends in this category. One is terrified to even talk to girls, so his attempts at flirting tend to involve him going up, saying two words to a girl, then running away. But he's hairy, round, and into D&D, so even doing that is considered "creepy" by some women.) But to be fair, the same thing is thrown out at women. And it's thrown out even more so if a woman (considered sexually desirable or no) acts in a sexual way that's not reciprocated. It just happens a *lot* less often than it does with men, I suspect because women are much less likely to be sexually assertive towards men who aren't interested than the other way around.

i had an eating disorder really young and i always worry about my younger cousins getting one. today i was watching 2 of them, a second grader and a ninth grader and the second grader was like "i weigh 50 pounds! i used to. let's see how much weight i lost!" and then she runs to the scale and it says 49.5 and she's like "haha i weigh less than you" and i was like "yeah cause you're in 2nd grade, if i weighed 49 pounds i would be dead" and then her older sister was like "should i eat another pop-tart? and the second grader is like "no cause you'll get fat!!" she has no disordered eating symptoms yet but i'm worried it'll get there :/
