I’m sick and bloody tired of folks complaining that the US is ‘erasing’ Sherlock’s sexuality or homosexual subtext. The original Holmes and Watson were at most in a romantic friendship and Holmes is, one can be fairly certain, asexual. You know what that means? It means he isn’t straight, or gay.
