the only issue i have with people recommending trade school is how male dominated most of the trades are
unless it's some sort of medical assistant or animal work it's likely there's less than 5 women in the program
then there's the issue of getting hired once you're finished because lbr, female welders or mechanics just get passed over a lot of the time

there's a trade group in my town trying to recruit new members to the 'brotherhood of electricians' and i'm pretty butthurt they've never thought of changing their name to attract more women in all these years

i wanted to be a park ranger when i grew up but then i got heat stroke on a dry 80°F day and i took it as a warning sign that a job like that would probably kill me come summer
my new favorite pass time is going on amazon pantry and filling up my box with all the food i'd buy if i had unlimited money
this is like the third time this week i've spent over an hour picking out groceries i cant afford. it sucks and just makes me sad but i keep doing it anyway.

idk if this helps but i don't have a lot of money for expensive groceries either and i'm trying to lose weight/eat healthier so i mostly just eat brown rice/frozen veggies/canned beans for lunch/supper on weekdays and then buy more expensive food for my weekend meals and i find that helps a little
