depends, is your landlord just some person who owns the place you're renting, or do you have a property management firm who controls the place?

do they know you're moving?

there is a larger company that controls stuff but i never had anything to do w/ them when i was renting (landlord just forwarded the paperwork and stuff) so i assume i wouldn't have to contact them for this either

and no she doesn't know yet, but i figured i should tell her in person and then give official written notice after that, idk
