(Anonymous) 2012-05-15 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)okay but conferences are how you get contacts and internships and jobs. you can ask and consider it an investment in a job down the line or you can not want to owe anyone money and lose out on jobs and internships to the person who takes your place.
a job in your field is worth a couple of months of feeling uncomfortable about debt, isn't it?
