for me, i think expensive haircuts are definitely worth it. quality haircuts rly make a difference.

IRC is asking people to buy a "Safe Delivery" gift in honor of mother's day. you can do it in someone else's name and they get a card in the mail (or an ecard).
i took some money out of my grocery/fun pile for this month and got a safe delivery gift for $24 US, but there are some gifts (like mosquito nets) that are cheaper (i think $18 US)

studying for my parcial now and i realised so far we've done about 80% conventions (tildes, palabras hiatos y diptongos etc), 15% grammar (when to use imperfecto vs preterito, ser vs estar), and maybe 5% actual speaking or other practical stuff (voseo, lunfardo)
i can't believe i'm paying money for this shit. knowing the difference between a palabra esdrújula and aguda is not going to help me when someone says "che, boluda, como andás?" or basically any conversation i ever have ever

the only way to rly learn spanish is to go somewhere where they speak spanish and stay there for months
