nonas my sleep schedule is all fucked up, i g2b at like 3-4am and sleep for a couple of hours and lie awake until like 9am and then fall asleep until noon or 1pm
i have work from home i need to start doing ASAP but i'm so fucked up i can't concentrate and i'm freaking out
what you should do is get a light box and start using it for 30 minutes at like 11, then after a week, roll it back to 1030 then 10 then 930 and keep going and you'll start getting tired earlier and earlier, so 3/4, 2:30, 2, 1:30, etc.
i just went to a sleep doc w/ the exact same schedule as you and that fixed it completely, now i just need to make sure to use the light box at least every other day when i get up
it's a light you set on your desk or table or w/e and it hits the back of your eye (indirectly, you don't need to stare at it) and it triggers 'dawn' to your brain basically, so it's used to reset your clock
there are tons on amazon or w/e - also 'light therapy box'
as weird as it sounds, i use asmr videos to relax and they also regulated my sleep schedule because they make me fall asleep once i get relaxed enough. might not work, might actually. worth a try? plug in "gentlewhispering + asmr" into youtube, she's pretty awesome. or "soundsculptures + asmr".

(Anonymous) 2012-04-18 01:29 am (UTC)(link)guess which one is going to take the most time, and write down the things you'll have to do for it
if you feel up to it, do that for the rest of your work
try to have that done before you g2b tonight
