i do this all the time. i call all of the guys at the grocery store i go to "love" and "sweetness" and i really try not to call the women that, but i admit i am really shitty at it :(

why not call women that? i feel like thats only obnoxious if guys call women that. i probably use it more on women than men by far

because i know a lot of women don't like it when anyone calls them by any kind of name like that.

because women are constantly called things like love and sweetheart and it's annoying even when it comes from other women after a while
