So I’ve been reading a fair amount of older literature recently, and, inevitably, there’s been a whole lot of “gay” being thrown around. And I mean “gay” as in “having or inducing high spirits,” not as in “homosexual.” It reminded me of when I was little and my mum read aloud to me and my brother; she’d often remind us that a man who was described as “gay” (especially in older literature) was not actually into men, and that it just meant he was fairly cheerful.

And, inevitably, this got me thinking about the word “ace.”

this is kind of a gamble. i love everything about 8000 nerves dresses, they are so weird and fun. it's been reduced by almost $100 and i've had my eye on it for a while - the problem is i can't return it if it doesn't fit.
