Yeah? So? Does the fact that I’m asexual remove my right to be a person? The fact that I dont want sex, am repulsed by it, and believe I do not need sex to live a fulfilled life makes me inhuman?

Well, according to my parents, anyway.

Because this is who I am. It’s just like being gay, or straight, or bi. You don’t turn any of these things! You don’t turn asexual, either.

I’m not a “late bloomer.” I have always been this way, and the fact that people just won’t accept this makes me really fucking pissed (haha it’s funny because I used fucking even though I’m asexual).

My mom would be fine with me being gay. If I were gay, she would jump for joy compared to this. And I’m not saying that I don’t like gay people, so don’t jump on me. You can be gay, bi, straight — anything! Whatever you want. But to look down on me because my sexuality is not natural? What? Are you kidding me?

I’ve been called a prude, and been made fun of because I don’t want something that is “human” and “natural” (and, newsflash, animals do it too). When people tell me “oh, you’ll get over it” or “you’re probably going to be the first of us to lose your virginity”, I start to feel sick, because I know exactly what gay people have felt like.

Can we please, please, just let everyone be who they want? Gay, straight, bi, trans, and ace, too? It doesn’t even matter what other people are. Why do you care, it has nothing to do with you.
