one time my ex told me about the time he bought a christmas tree on new years eve
and i said "that's kinda weird"
and he was like "it's not weird it's OUR DECISION" and got all weirdly defensive
and we argued for like 15 minutes
until i finally said "but why would you buy a tree AFTER christmas?" and he goes "wtf are you talking about" and apparently he had been meaning christmas eve the entire time but kept saying new years and not noticing that i was saying new years too
it was the weirdest thing
