apparently i am super classist because i don't respect a woman whose decides to stay at home to parent her kid because her husband and her will earn less at their prestigious careers if she hires a nanny to take care of them for part of a day.

my mom worked three jobs and i barely saw her, because that's what she had to do so that we could afford to eat. and we constantly had shit shut off because she could barely make ends meet. but she doesn't understand when i say that i consider parenting different than a career.

because this person came and attacked me first about my family's lack of a choice in the matter? and then turned it all back on herself and her well-off family's decisions to be stay-at-home parents.
