can i just rant about how much i hate my cousin's husband?
so he works for his dad who owns a big fruit exporting company that's really successful and he's going to take over someday~
and he comes from a rich, privileged family and he thinks he's so smart because he has a photographic memory and a company blackberry that he's always on, even the big family reunion we have every year, and he's tall and blond and and always has this smug smile on his face like he thinks he's soooooo handsome even tho he looks like james van der beek
so those were already reasons i had for disliking him but then they had a baby last year and my cousin found out that he's super old fashioned in that he thinks it's the wife's job to look after the baby and he doesn't even pay attention to it
like, he probably partly justifies this by thinking because he works 14 hours a day, he shouldn't have to but obviously that's no excuse. and while we were at the family reunion at my family's big cottage, the baby was up all night crying and my cousin had to stay up with it and before i went to bed i heard my cousin complaining to her mom about how her husband just went to bed and refused to help her. and the next day he sat out on the porch ~doing important stuff on his blackberry~ while my cousin wandered around looking like a zombie and still trying to calm the baby and then he left later that afternoon for ~important business~ even tho he was supposed to stay the weekend
AND ON TOP OF ALL THAT, her husband loves big dogs and so he insisted they get a great dane from a special breeder (one of those huge dogs like scooby doo) even tho he's barely ever home and he expects my cousin to take care of it and take it on walks and they got it right when she was pregnant. PLUS, his friend, who has a mastiff, decided to go to japan for three years and gave his dog to them to look after while he was gone and my cousin's husband didn't even ask her if it was okay even tho he never looks after it and my cousin just developed a dog allergy that hurts her throat and when my mom pointed out at the family reunion that what she was experiencing was allergies, he argued with her about it and said it wasn't allergies, omg. and she's got another baby on the way and i want so badly to punch him in the face.
hopefully my cousin, who's in her early twenties, will learn to lay down the law because she has a hard time doing that now but ARRGH, HE IS JUST SO AWFUL AND I HOPE HE PINELEGOS FOREVER AND EVER!!!

i totally wish stay at home mom was my lifelong career.
my kid is all grown in about 4 more years and i have no real other things i like to do than teach kids stuff and take care of kids :(

ugh i was gonna post a qt photo of my dog but my computer was importing them wrong and i had to install some new updates and somehow deleted all the old pics of my dog
i just took some new ones but it's nighttime so the light is bad and they're kind of fuzzy and don't showcase him at his absolute cutest

omg i am nona who posted pics of her scratches last month after she cut her dog's nails and he freaked out
i did it again today and he squirmed and tried to get away but in the end it only took like 15-20 to calm him down and get them all trimmed and he didn't scratch me once!
he got a bacon treat for being a good boy :)
