i'm thinking respite foster care might be really perfect

i just love my life right now. i have a little side business, i homeschool the kid, i have a lot of time with other moms who are living the same kind of life. it's really nice. i don't want it to end.

liking one's chosen lifestyle and not wanting it to change or end is just so terribly unhealthy. :P

nayrt wtf is unhealthy about having a passion for teaching & caring for children

(Anonymous) 2012-04-14 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
my mom started working part time at local public elementary schools when my sister and i reached our teens. maybe u could do something similar buba

(Anonymous) 2012-04-14 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
i think i'd rather work with like, nicu babies or foster kids or something. i used to volunteer at an elementary school and i found dealing with other people's totally unmannered kids with no authority to help them learn to do better to be infinitely frustrating

(Anonymous) 2012-04-14 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
lol it's true, she comes home with lots of frustrating-but-hilarious stories about kids whose parents tell them not to listen to the teachers and stuff. whatever u do hope u happy

(Anonymous) 2012-04-14 05:41 am (UTC)(link)
doing that, and still a little sad that this time with my kiddo is so short.

(Anonymous) 2012-04-14 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
volunteer at a library? do story time w/ the kids :3

(Anonymous) 2012-04-14 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
