Usually the effects are mild for me - though I'll find that I need to tilt my netbook to the right so that it's easier to type, with the words flowing downhill. Also, all of the 'a's on the screen start looking like little penguins marching across a snowfield.
I once ordered a pair of LED gloves on eBay. Still have no idea what I was thinking.
At Burning Man last summer I took a couple of Ambien when I thought I was done for the night, but couldn't sleep and apparently I decided that I wanted to be outside in our camp lounge where it was cooler. And apparently I didn't put any clothes on, and the lounge was occupied. I vaguely remember a friend passing through the camp and asking what I was doing wearing only a pair of Monty Python bunny slippers (they've got a viscous streak a mile wide), and I said something about it being necessary for giving inappropriate hugs. I then proceeded to demonstrate some of the inappropriate hugs. Fortunately this sort of behavior isn't particularly out of the ordinary at Burning Man and I don't think she took offense.
