b/c they'll be exposed to the internal culture of the military which will still primarily be the same because the same people will still be attracted to it as a career?
my country has it and idt any man i know has changed to be more militaristic or right wing after going through the army. i suspect it's different with imperialistic countries that invade other countries and regularly go to war
