gq makes more sense to me than asexy, because I can see the gender identity spectrum working, and people being in between or neither... but you either have sexual desires or you don't. there's no real room for in between

asexy should mean that you don't have sexual desires

it should not apply to anyone who thinks they have a low sex drive or only becomes attracted to people they know well
