tbh i hate this fad that says that gq people are better at feminism than cis women. ofc feminism has fucked up horribly wrt trans people, but someone who doesn't identify as a woman shouldn't be able to talk over women about feminism. trans women are perfectly capable of doing that shit

i just get uncomfortable when people who aren't women act like they know so much more about misogyny than women.

b/c faab gq ppl sometimes still identify as women and excluding us as a whole when there are different identities and leanings within gq/gf ppl is kinda rlly transphobic. just calling it out based on talking over is fine, but being like "you have no say, you aren't a woman" is transphobic and shortsighted

i have a 'friend' (we've p much stopped hanging out because they annoy the fuck out of me) who is gq and always, always went on about how our uni's women's group is transphobic because it doesn't let in gq people or trans men.

it's a gd women's group, it's for women.
