when i was ten, i wanted to be violet from asoue

she was such a cool fourteen year old girl omg

wish there were more book characters like her in middle-grade books instead of boys always being the heros

i suppose there's annabeth chase but lbr she's percy's sidekick for the whole series even though she has a billion times more common sense than him and also saves his butt regularly

did you ever read the sally lockhart books by philip pullman? she's a secondary character in the fourth one admittedly but she was great.
