that's not really intelligence so much as knowledge, and for most people there really isn't a huge benefit to acquiring knowledge relevant to, say, constructing a circuitboard
i was just reading a short story about a guy who travelled back in time to introduce modern tech and science to roman times, and it kinda blew my mind when i thought about how little i know about in practice as opposed to in theory
