it's so odd to me that so many americans live on their own to go to school, especially since it just adds so much to their total debtload which make it less likely they'll be able to be financially stable in the future.

i mean obvs it doesn't work for all ppl because sometimes you need to get away or you want to go to school far away, but it's just odd to me that it seems to be an expectation there when here i barely know anyone who moved out for uni.

in the us, if you want to go to a good school, you have to go away from home to do it unless you live in one of the cities where they are.

lol there aren't schools everywhere & there def aren't schools that will get you any respect in the workforce everywhere
