lql ew, luckily i haven't seen mine do that. although he's not big on sleeping in general.

i think he rly loves the sound his claws make when he scratches the side and he does it all.night.long too

my cat does that too. she'll do her business then spend 30sec-3 min scratching the sides of the little box lid like she's burying something.

yeah its p gross because she stinks all the time now. like, to the point where i dont really want her to lay with me because she stinks like litter box.

i try and clean it really often so that shes not sleeping with poop and pee, cause she totally will. she dnc how clean or dirty it is. just wants to sleep in there

lol same for my smaller cat

i used to think spending that much time digging in the litterbox was a thing all cats do. then i got a second cat and he doesn't do that at all lol. he spends the least amount of time in the litterbox possible and only paws at the litter enough to cover his poops

my cat used to do that but i had to force her to stop b/c after a while she stopped pooping there, presumably b/c she didn't want her "bed" to smell like shit

cats, man. idek

mine will still sleep in there, even if there is poop or pee or whatever in there. she regularly gets shit in her fur because of it

have to scoop the box often to keep her from getting gross, cause i cant stop her from sleeping in there

it took a while, but i got her to stop sleeping there just by waking her up and annoying her every time she tried to sleep there, then moving her to another part of the house and leaving her alone

but i think she was p ambivalent about sleeping there lol. i mean if she really wanted to keep sleeping in the litterbox, nothing i did would have had any effect lbr. when i tried the same method to get her to stop sleeping /in the sink/ there was no success. she's sleeping in there rn lol
