i haven't read a lot of the comics, but blood brothers, for example, is just loki angsting bc his inescapable fate is to lose, every time. also bc thor is the only person who ever genuinely loved him and he keeps trying to kill him ablobloblo
also in siege doom is like "loki dude why are you doing all this shit" and loki just gets all mad and says "BECAUSE I AM LOKI. i am chaos blahblah you don't ask why thor thunders or why tyr battles, they do what they're made for!!!"
