mako was such an ass in that episode wrt to korra and asami.

"what do you think of korra as a girlfriend"
"she's great, but i think it makes more sense for me to date asami"

and then the whole "she's not the girlfriend type" and getting buttmad when she was dating bolin

so buttmad more people aren't mad at him over this, especially the people getting on korra's case.
