well, it is american money they want so

tbh i think the main thing people both love and hate about the campaign is the same: it's white people saying they're african.

it rubs ppl the wrong way bc these privileged white celebs are identifying themselves with poor, black africans. basically it's of the colorblind liberal persuasion.

but the idea behind it and why others like it is that they are saying the poor, black africans are human beings who deserve as much attention as these privileged white celebrities.
