so do a lot of slash fics have rimming in them now or is that just a star trek thing
i rly like the characters/plot in this book that i'm reading, but the author like totally overcompensated and was way too specific with the geography/street names/trivia about the place it's set, and it's totally throwing me out of the story every time i have to hear about torrey pines or mira mesa boulevard or la jolla cove or ucsd's library or w/e
why is the fact that the 5, 8, and 163 all meet in mission valley even mentioned? what does this have to do with anythinggg in this story

idk some authors just go really overboard with creating their world and forget that most people just want to know the story and aren't super invested in finding out every particular of the nooks and crannies of the city it's set in or whatever, particularly if it's a fantasy world
