i do think that otherkin are oppressed, and that otherkin hate and erasure is a form of systemic violent oppression. i think that non-otherkin humans have privilege over otherkin and that acts in really horrible ways.
i have been really despairing about the "otherkin are not oppressed" posts going around, though i also want to respect otherkin who are saying this, and i've been meaning to write up something about it and i was thinking extensively about it this morning, but i haven't been able to write it yet. but i will, soon, i hope.
