i have to say atla mostly bc that's what i'm on a kick of rn, and i really lost track of digimon after a while. my digimon fandom is MOSTLY season 1, i only sort of cared for season 2, hated season 3 and randomly loved season 4 despite how awful it was
digimon was my first real fandom though, and my first ever fic was a digimon fic written in my journal lol
idk i really like both but i watched digimon as a kid
if it makes sense i think atla is a much more adult show in being entertaining?
but i feel like digimon is more relatable in bringing "adult" themes that kids deal with into a show clearly aimed at kids. like a nona mentioned earlier, it dealt with depression, ptsd, divorce, and a lot of other things in a straight up way?
itt: digimon vs atla
