There are many many ideas and schemes for nail flagging. It seems (to me) unlikely for a generally accepted code to evolve, and I think that's a good thing - no rigid system could capture the diversity of personalities and wishes one could flag. But it'd be great if everybody could agree that differently coloured nails say "talk to me if you want to find out what I'm flagging". And maybe ONE generally agreed upon scheme that says "stay away".

you know, when we half-realized it was never gonna go outside of our group of friends or really mean anything, but it was just fun?

i wonder if these people have that awareness...
