jfc some guy just almost hit my car

i was pulling into the parking lot at my apartment complex, and there's this area that's like a T shape where you can get into the parking lot by going through the bottom of the T. i have to turn left to get to my parking spot and it's a pretty big blind spot where you can't really see if any cars are coming until you're already halfway into the turn, so you have to be SUPER careful but it's a parking lot so you don't normally expect people to be driving fast enough where somebody could get hurt

i pulled up to the turn area slowly and it looked clear from where i was, so i scooted up a little more and then out of nowhere this neckbeardy looking guy comes SPEEDING by at like 40 mph and if my foot hadn't been hovering over my break he would have hit me. he turned out of the way and screeched a little bit and he had this horrified look on his face, and then he kept looking back at me like trying to check if he had nicked me

then he went like .25 mph through the rest of the parking lot lol

i was seriously about to get out of my car and scream at him

i mean ffs i've had a lot of close calls because of that blind spot but i've never been MAD before because it's always just a case of it being the blind spot's fault and neither me or the other driver were doing anything wrong, and an accident would have just been a tiny bump and a "whoops lol". but WTF going 40 mph through a tiny ass parking lot with a blind spot? he nearly t-boned me and i would have gotten injured

i have a similar situation on my street, where from far away it looks like a cul de sac but it actually turns into another street. and then people park on both sides so you have to drive down the middle of the road and you cant see the other street until you've already started turning onto it.

had a guy almost hit me going like, 40 and then sat there until i backed up so he could pass. i flipped him off as he drove by.
