i think it may be beneficial to talk to your school's resident psych (or whatever the equivalent would be. counselors?). it's a really good idea to have sort of a trail of your MI because if you ever need to appeal a mark or w/e, you have legit shit to back you up AND you have someone to speak with your profs on your behalf when you're not doing well.

no one wants to help me tbh. they want me to explain this all to my profs on my own

can you bring it above the counselor? dean or someone? anyone the counselor has to report to or w/e?

if not, can you send an email to your profs explaining in vague detail what is happening? i've had to send my profs something the lines of "i'm having a very difficult time wrt mental health" and they usually either give me an extension or don't count the mark as part of my final grade.

i really want to talk to the dean of students? but part of me thinks theres no point, i've seen him before wrt this and my chronic migraines and both times he was really unhelpful, basically telling me i should just try to explain the situation to my professors. (one time he'd double-booked the appointment so i could only see him for like three minutes :( )

that's really shitty of him and a p terrible attitude but maybe if it concerns mental health, he'll be more inclined to be helpful? esp if you have any sort of anxiety. you might have to get into a bit more detail than you feel comfortable just to get the point across but biba, you've really gotta try all the routes, esp if you don't want to discuss it with your profs just yet or at all.

i rly rly get how difficult it is to find any point in doing this thing but trust me biba, it'll be worth it when either your dean of students or profs have some empathy.

nayrt but that is fucked nona

your senior tutor or the secretary for your senior tutor should be sending notifications to your profs for you. that's what happened for me, and that was even before i saw a counsellor.

make an appointment with your senior tutor and see if they can help you out. or if you feel comfortable, write your prof an email and explain as much as you feel comfortable with
