idk nona i've spent a lot of time on both sites and tumblr seems to be worse. something about the site seems to bring all the idiots to the yard. plus all the people in the sj community are constantly trying to out crazy each other

i think it's the integration of sj language by ~older~ ppl into fandom that got so many young ppl to pick it up

and bc they only know the terms from context clues and not reading the books or essays or wtfever shit gets mixed up and stupid

yep, and they jump onto literally anything that could ever possibly be interpreted as problematic mostly so they can get attention and more followers


it actually really rubs me the wrong way bc it feels like a mockery of sj. they're disingenuous and i know they'll stop caring once they stop having an audience
