omg, nonas

one of my cats barfed this morning literally as i was walking out the door, basically undigested cat food that i fed her about an hour before. it's been stupid hot here, and she does that when it's hot.

i was already running late to my bus so once i was sure she was alright, i was just like, "fuck it, i'll clean it when i get home" and ran.

i just got home, and no barf, just some shiny dried stomach acid. one of them ATE THE BARFED UP CAT FOOD.

cats, you are gross.

when i had a dog i saw her eat her own barf

lol i've got two dogs rn and it's my first time having more than one so it's been interesting and mostly positive tbh

but i'll never forget one of the first times they were going somewhere in the car and my mom had thought it was a good idea to give them treats just before leaving - those treats + motion + excitement over being in the car just did not agree with one of them and he threw up. obvs the car couldn't just stop right away to deal with this, so in the mean time his brother ate the barf. this did not agree with him and he threw up on the first dog's head because they were still prone to cuddling at that stage.

no one was happy. especially not the dog that got barfed on.

when i was babysitting i found the dog eating something on the couch and couldn't figure out what it was. i asked the kid i was babysitting and he was like "oh, that's his poo"

i am never going to own a dog.

i always clean it up right away unless i'm on the toilet, mine have never done this before. plus they're both hella finicky, it didn't even occur to me they'd do this.
