i'm so tired of being told how my tastes in characters/ships reflect how i'm self-hating

i mean, yeah i probably am because hey society hates women and gay people so i know internalized shit


but just in fandom, sometimes i want to turn my brain off and read slash and not have to feel it's because i'm a self hating lesbian or w/e. i know i have issues, i think about them all the time when i read sj blogs, can i just enjoy my fic without hearing this sexist "lol dumb yaoi fangirls" shit
