i haven't been diagnosed but i compulsively pick at my scabs and my cuticles if there's an imperfection

same! i got better about scabs but i used to keep them open for weeks or months and still have scars from when i was a kid and didn't know when to stop

can't seem to stop with my cuticles but using nail clippers at least keeps them from becoming a bloody mess

i've still got scars too

i actually don't like how it feels while i'm doing it but here's this fantastic rush when i finish and the unevenness is FIXED omg

what happens to me is i pick at zits on my ears and then pick at the scabs there for months :C i've been able to break myself of most it recently tho

i used to scratch at the inside of my ears until a scab formed and just keep repicking it, it was soooo soothing

glad you're doing better with it

oh god i've had dermatillomania since i was 12

i have permanent scars, it's so bad. I still do it but mostly just on my arms.
