yay bb

thats like the best pain. it hurts but its so satisfying lol

yep! it is so worth it, even though i'll probably be stiff tomorrow.

i used to hike all the time and i stopped after i got hit by a car in 2006 bc it took like a year before i could even walk without pain, and then i was just out of the habit. i've been trying to get back into it for the last few months, but this is almost double the longest hike i've been on in lately. i feel really great right now.

(Anonymous) 2012-04-18 01:54 am (UTC)(link)
no, but i saw a ton of grey squirrels, red-wing blackbirds, canada geese, ducks and some kind of blue jay. and some wildflowers.

they are so gorgeous

i tried to take pictures of everything but they were all camera-shy except the geese and ducks. those birds have no shame, lol.

in awe of you rn, biba--i love a good walk, but i've never tried to go 7.5 miles.

(Anonymous) 2012-04-18 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
thanks! <3 it's almost the longest walk i've ever been on. :D

you should try it, though, if you can and if you have somewhere pretty to walk. it feels great.

there's a lovely park here. i know there's at least one resident hawk, and i'm pretty sure i saw a baltimore oriole there once.
