i decided that this year i wanted a majority of the books i read to be written by woman. so far i've cheated by reading though the Sookie Stackhouse series and re-reading the first 2 hunger games books.

recs?

i'm open to pretty much anything

during the sag strike i think a lot of tv writers started books that are now getting published.

Bossypants by Tina Fey
My Boyfriend Wrote a Book About Me by Hilary Winston
Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? by Mindy Kalling

helen oyeyemi
laila lalami
angelica gorodischer- kalpa imperial
nalo hopkinson
tamora pierce ofc
ooku which is a manga but its good. its about most the men in tokugawa shogunate japan being killed by disease, so women take over everything

[personal profile] justanona 2012-04-09 12:12 am (UTC)(link)
