i always wished a couple airbenders or nomads had survived and were in hiding the whole time, but i can't imagine why they wouldn't have come out after the war was over :(

cant maybe some of the nonbenders can learn airbending? like the ppl up in the northern tribes? bc if ppl can learn from the original source then maybe idk

i'm pretty sure that's the case

like, tendency toward a given kind of bending can run in families, but it's also encouraged by living in a culture that is compatible with that bending's philosophy, and also active teaching about that bending method

i'm willing to bet that some air nomads did manage to escape and survive but probably had to abandon their culture completely and so long all connection with airbending

but with any luck it can develop again :3

yeah! so maybe some of teo's descendents could become air benders

and i can see that happening esp if they are supposed to be nomadic

and yes! i am sure it will come into balance again
