so bibas i posted at like 5:30 this morning b/c i woke up and went pee, and when i did i felt this sharp sudden pain (only lasted for a second) and then there was bright red blood when i wiped (but no blood i could see in the pee itself. if it was there, there wasn't much.)
the blood didn't last too long and every pee since then has been pain-free and blood-free.
some nona said it was probably a kidney stone, but is there anything i should do about it? i've been drinking a shitton of water all day but do i need to go to the doctor or anything? i don't have any pain otherwise so idk.
you could have a kidney stone, but you could also have a kidney infection - that could lead to kidney failure and kill you
i had a kidney stone and it was the most painful thing that has ever happened to me in my life and i even broke my leg and the bone popped through my skin and the kidney stone hurt worse

and i always heard kidney stones were super painful but this was just like mildly uncomfortable. it was like a quick pinch or something, then it was fine (and i didn't have back pain or anything else ppl always talk about.)
are you sure the blood came from your urethra even, biba? could you maybe have like a tear around your vag that you kinda tore open when you sat down to pee?
if there was no blood in your actual urine then i don't think you have much to worry about
i couldn't rly tell where it was coming from, it was just a few random blotches on the toilet paper and then it stopped. i hope it was just a cut or something that stung a little :( dnw to deal with anything major.
it really doesn't sound like a kidney stone or anything up that high, tbh. kidney stones cause like MAJOR PAIN in your lower back-ish area, my friend's dad thought he was having a heart attack when he first had one.
and your bladder is basically like a giant balloon that fills up with pee, if your kidneys were bleeding the blood and urine would have mixed up in your bladder, making your pee more like a brown-ish color
it could be your bladder tho, or your urethra.
have you been like dry or irritated lately? that's honestly what it sounds like to me, i've had tearing around my vag because i had such a bad yeast infection i was all dry and cracked, and then when i've peed the urine has made it all stingy
if nothing happens again, i'd say don't even worry, but if you have any urinary tract infection symptoms or something else, go to a doctor. and if you bleed again try and figure out where the bleeding is coming from.
