spending any amount of time around dogs makes me appreciate my cat SOOOOO much. he's so civilized, utterly respectful and lovely. i can't even say this around most people i know because cat people are like i'm cool with both! and dog people only want to talk about their dog and sometimes even go eww cats. i grew up with cats and dogs but cats are so much chiller. dogs are exhausting
