research shows that in nearly every situation attractive people will be treated better than unattractive people. that doesn't mean that women are free from misogyny or poc are free from racism or lgbt people are free from homophobia, but good looking people are treated better, earn more money, are more likely to get hired, are seen as more competent, get better health care, etc.
