my kid just brought me her little mermaid book and asked me how ariel pooped and peed when she was a mermaid and when she got legs, did she also get a coochie and a butt so she could poop and pee like people?
i said that i couldn't be sure because they don't say in the story, but she probably pooped like fish do when she was a mermaid and she probably did get a cooch and butt when she got human legs because she would have to use bathrooms.
she said "why don't they explain this in the story?" and i said because most people don't spend that much time thinking about how ariel goes potty.
