nonas, have you guys ever heard the term 'pro-life' in a non-political context...?

lol i got lost in psych today. apparently there's an alternative definition where pro life = anti-death penalty

i've never heard it as anti-death penalty

i was confused because i was sitting there like, 'but aren't a lot of pro-life people for the death penalty...?'

apparently pro-life to her = pro all life....

i vaguely remember seeing it used like that back in like 2004 or w/e when i was writing a paper for 9th grade english or something lol.

p sure that's not the associating the vast majority of people are going to make tho.

i've heard some people believe being anti-death penalty is part of their pro-life beliefs

including being against "euthanasia" for lack of a better term

but i've never heard it as only anti-death penalty, not even taking the person's views on abortion and the "sanctity of life" into account

ayrt and yeah, that is basically what happened here. we were doing the heinz moral dilemma and analyzing the responses of kids. one of the boys repeated a phrase "a life is a life" and even though fetuses/abortion never came up, we were supposed to assume he was pro-life

i'm like. wait. really. cause i've used that phrase and i'm not....
