for those that don't know: "Proposition 11, which will appear on the Nov. 6 ballot and is backed by the state’s largest private ambulance operator, American Medical Response, would require these paramedics and emergency medical technicians to be on call for their full shifts as they have for years. It would also limit legal liability for past violations of labor law."
there were efforts w/in ems to oppose prop 11 but there is really no national unionization of ems. i don't know the specific situation in california but amr is a fucking hellscape with too much hold.
