our elections are broken on every level tbh

even discounting dirty tactics like gerrymandering & voter disenfranchisement, the system is set up in a way that favors republicans. the number of representatives in congress, the power of the senate, the electoral college, even election day itself, they're all fundamentally broken and ensures a rural conservative minority rules over a liberal urban majority. it won't change bc americans are obsessed with tradition and think everything has to stay the way it was in ye olden days and changing it would require republicans to vote to relinquish their own power

i still can't believe they named a convention after their ship

I mean, I think it's really admirable what they accomplished but the name is so embarrassing

A mystery wrapped in Japanese that has made my baths infinitely more enjoyable. Ok, maybe not infinitely, but i have thoroughly enjoyed these. I use two packs in a larger than average but not huge tub. I have a diminished sense of smell but can smell these! I never know what to expect for each packet but they are generally nice. I take soaking baths that last hours regularly, I'm kind of an expert. I get up early to take two hour baths, that's how important baths are in my life. And these are definitely professional quality bath salts.
