you can't trust something like myfitnesspal to adequately gage the calories you need for weightloss. there's too many variables and it always undershoots your needs ESP if you exercise.
you shouldn't be eating less than 1500. 1500 cals is what they give coma patients. if you do then it's very possible you'll start overeating/binging.
also if you're exercising then building muscle mass will increase the cals u burn just by existing (this will be minimal since yr not a professional athlete/trainer but it still can add up). try weight training even if you can't do high intensity cardio yet
esp since metabolism can vary by 200-300 kcal per person if u go just based on weight and height, so one person eating 1500 might be maintaining weight while someone else is losing and another person is gaining even tho they all started at the same height and weight
except most people overweight people underestimate their caloric intake. (as well as most thin ppl overestimating theirs). this has been proven time and time again. most people do not have huge fluctuations b/t/w metabolism and an overweight person actually physically has a higher metabolism than an underweight one because of the way that metabolism works.

(Anonymous) 2015-08-01 07:07 am (UTC)(link)1500 is just slightly over my bmr. it's 500+ under my tdee. 1200 would be an ed relapse
1200 would also be p normal for someone much smaller and less active than me
tl;dr this is all individual, dw abt internet advice, use ur tdee or w/e or doctor's advice and find what works for you
