my father went off for no apparent reason during a camping trip with his three friends and shot them and killed two and me and mother had to move for similar reasons
though obviously not as bad as a serial killer its fucked up that people will just leap to blame you for their action's when you either had 0 contact with them or didn't know they were ever going to do anything like that (like my father was widely known in the community has hard-working and respectable, dependable, a really nice family and house and job blah blah blah literally no one ever thought he would do something like that)
ty, it happened over a decade ago when i was 7 so a lot of time has passed and theres not as much of an issue of gossip or whatever unless we go back to our hometown but its still surreal sometimes
yeah me and my 4 other cousins who are similar ages to me were tormented mercilessly at school and even by random grown ass adults on our way home and people threw pigs blood on our driveway MULTIPLE TIMES and my aunt's house got half burnt down
people's need for vengeance destroyed our family after it had already been shattered
