if it's a news article or something with a "this is so important" tacked onto the v end, why not just delete the dumb part and reblog the post

or like delete all the commentary and leave the lunk

people editing posts other people made and presenting it as the original is a thing that has happened before

not a scourge, but for a reblogging platform it's not desirable so i guess they finally fixed it
