today my parents left the cover off the couch when they went out and of course the cat peed on it again

and i know they're going to be like "oh this is so awful, i can't live with this, she can't possibly be happy, we should put her down" but she is happy she just really likes peeing on the couch and we have this one very simple solution

she's old and her kidneys are failing so she doesn't have much time left, and for them it's like they've written her off and it doesn't matter if she dies, but for me it just breaks my heart to think of robbing her of the time she does have

nona if her kidneys are failing she's not happy. kidney failure is not fun

she's in the early stages. the vet knows we don't want her to suffer and is very realistic with us, i like her a lot

when my mom wanted to put my cat down for peeing in the corner all the time i swore that if she did i would carry on her legacy

my cat is old with renal failure too but the vets always say how good she looks for her age and that she's relatively healthy all things considered. r u giving her iv fluids? bc she needs them

yeah, same for my cat. i push water on her w watered down wet food. the vet said iv wasn't necessary yet but that was a few months ago, i feel like maybe we should go back
